The Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Act was created in 1993, keeping gays, lesbians, and bisexuals from being open with their sexualities in the U.S military. In other words, if someone asked them about it, they couldn’t answer. If anybody found out about their sexuality, they could be kicked out.
